On the corner of the Rue Lepic and Rue Tholozé the view over Paris is fantastic and you can spot PA_1077 in the distance as well. Since the book with the complete first 4000 space invaders from 1998 to 2021 was released, we know that this space invader is number 2842 in the world.

On June 12, 2025, the news came that the northern French city of Amiens had been visited by my favorite artist Invader. In total he installed 16 space invaders. A white on red framed space invader on a crossroad in the 18ème arrondissement of Paris. Perfectly in the center of the building and best exposed by the sun in the late afternoon. With eagle's eyes you can spot PA_217 easily. This invader was deleted in December 2014 but was re-activated in the beginning of the covid-19 crisis in March 2020 and I never got the opportunity to flash this one to obtain the 50 points this one is worth on the wall of Square de l'Île-de-France. It was very well flashable from the Quai de la Tournelle. As close as possible along the waterfront, Port de la Tournelle in fact.

The most beautiful summary in mosaic tiles of the year 2020. The year 2020 was a bad year for Invader. In Paris he has placed only 18 new space invaders. In total he placed 102 space invaders, most of which of course in Marseille. The third wave in this city includes 84 space invaders. Due to the lockdown, there have been no other waves.
In 2020 the number of FlashInvaders users grew by 35,692 to 153,672 and a total of nearly 2.5 million space invaders were flashed!
This one is located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris and was number 3960 in the world.

Especially for the 2024 Olympics the the air shafts in and around Centre Pompidou were colored red and they did this with every respect of the three space invaders in Rue du Renard; (PA_109), PA_1081 and PA_587 . PA_109 unfortunatelly not in the picture. These air shafts were painted back after the Olympics to white.

Hiding up in the clouds, PA_1431 is the highest space invader ever placed in Paris. It landed on the top of the Eiffel Tower in November 2019 where it enjoys the great view !
Since the news Invader invaded the top of the Tour Eiffel I had the plan to visit the top of this tower. Then we had the covid-19 pandemic and it was not possible to visit the top of this tower to gain 100 points at an altitude of 281 meters.

PA_1432 seen from the side and in line with Centre Pompidou. Always worth a revisit.
On Wednesday December 4, a new iconic alien from Invader came to invade Paris. So far, nothing very unusual, the French artist installs his works in the streets of the capital since 1996. However, this time, it is 447 tiles 9 m high by 7 m wide that constitute the monumental mosaic of the invader from elsewhere, the largest work of the Street Artist. Entitled PA_1432, in other words the 1432nd tiled work installed in Paris.

A big "I Invade Marseille" invader on a railway overpass in the Capelette neighbourhood.
Till August 2020 I found and flashed all 13 space invaders of wave 1 (MARS_01 - MARS_11 - 2004 and wave 2 (MARS_12 and MARS_13). But during wave 3 in August 2020 the number of space invaders went up to 97. In total 84 space invaders on my list again.

This street has a rich history when it comes to street art. The very first space invader in the world used to be here and the original PA_133 together with the 'fresque' of ZEVS are still here. And in April 2018 PA_047 was re-activated as well. I'm sure a lof people are waiting for the re-activation of PA_1 (or PA_01 or PA_001) but I'm not sure if that will ever happen.

A tribute to Serge Gainsbourg, a smoker and above that a French singer, songwriter, pianist, film composer, poet, painter, screenwriter, writer, actor, and director...
Locations: Rue Serge Gainsbourg, Clermont-Ferrand, Auvergne, France.
Coordinates: 45°47'20" N 3°5'55" E
Reason: Made a three day roadtrip to the city of Clermont-Ferrand in the Auvergne to capture all 31 new space invaders made during the second invasion wave in January 2016. And of course flash all 34 'flashable' invaders in the game FlashInvaders from which 4 from the first invasion wave in 2001 (1 is not flashable due to vandalism with a paintball).
CLR_14: This huge space invader in the Northern outskirts of Clermont-Ferrand is worth 100 points and dedicated to Serge Gainsbourg. Invader must be a fan of Serge as PA_801 in Paris (7ème) was a tribute to Gainsbourg as well. Date of invasion must be around 24 to 26 January 2016.
