One from back in the summer that I didn’t get round to uploading. Even though I wouldn’t normally be there at this time of year, I’m having withdrawal symptoms at the thought of no longer owning a house next to this coastline. I should have photographed Bow Fiddle when I was back in October.
Black-shouldered Kite (Elanus axillaris) male
A look back to this day in 2020 and Bronson bringing a mouse to the nest for Belle.
They have been nesting continuously since this image was taken and I could probably have taken a similar shot today, had I the time to get down to Sneydes Rd.
Four decades ago, you never knew what you might find at Union Pacific’s North Yard in Salt Lake City. On this fine July 25, 1978 evening we see a GP20, three GP9s, four SW9s, four NW2s, and a DD35. Note the accumulation of diesel fuel mixed with sand along the yard tracks, something you don’t see anymore.
A CP/INRD coke load rolls through Momence, IL on UP's Villa Grove Sub., a long time before I'd ever consider going to far off places like Evaro and Missoula to see blue and black EMD classics.
The owner of this fine automobile was very nice! I could sit & talk cars all day, but didn't have much time left because cars were starting to roll out.. as a matter of fact he was one of the last ones to leave because he had to finish his beer! sunday~funday!
Thats enough images for tonight.. Let me know what you would like to see more of...
Ramberg beach, Lofoten, Norway
Had to clean almost 40 cms of snow from my driveway; makes you think about the extremely warm summer we had ;-)
But I'm glad the larger snowloads are finally here!
With a hurricane bearing down on Florida, I thought everyone could use a flashback to happier times with cute baby birds, like this little Northern Parula.
While it looks like we won't get the brunt of it here in Tampa Bay (fingers crossed), I know it's going to be much worse for everyone up the Nature Coast. Good luck and be safe everyone!

Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike (Coracina novaehollandiae)
One from last year. I haven't seen any this year yet.
i heard in the news today that July 4 was the hottest day ever recorded AROUND THE WORLD!
I took this photo a few years back and I pray that the fire season that year will never happen again. Fires were happening everywhere in California that year!
My right arm is still bothering me, but I thought I'd stop by to say "HELLO."
A QUICK TIP: If you click on the word "flickr" next to the logo on top left side, you'll see all the latest posts from your contacts/friends.
Take care everyone!
It's still hard/painful for me to type so I'm sorry for not being able to make comments yet.
