Flashback Diner & Coffeehouse
Flashback Diner currently has three locations: Hallandale Beach, Davie & Boca Raton. We have been in business in Hallandale for almost 25 years, in Davie for over 5 years and most recently became a part of the Boca Raton restaurant community. We have had steady and impressive increases every year. Even in recessionary times our sales have tripled since 2008 in our locations. As our business progresses we see it in our future to continue to expand.
Flashback Diners are open 24 hours, 365 days a year, our food is upscale for diner standards and of the highest quality. We employ full time Executive Chefs and experienced line and prep cooks. We have lavish dessert displays, mile-high cakes, enormous milkshakes, and different types of coffees and teas; we also serve beer and wine for our guests to enjoy.
Our décor is modern; our walls are lined up with authentic autographed pictures from the past and the present, featuring movie, recording stars and celebrity chefs. The state of the art booths have TVs for individual use and free WIFI. Visit Boca to see our extended bar with a full liquor selection to match. In Davie, we have an outdoor patio and in Hallandale you may find celebrities, such as Dennis Rodman and Jackie Mason, to name a few. My Friday mornings are so hectic so I get in a little earlier and post my photos Thursday night. (Hopefully no-one looks til Friday)
Well - what a disappointment this was. Firstly we were shocked to find out that you were NOT allowed to take alcohol into the festival like we have done in previous years. They were even searching camping chair bags to check for contraband. They did not even ask to see the tickets/wristbands. People were drinking their wine/beer they had brought to last them through the day and evening one swig after another rather than leave it behind. The reason they gave for not allowing alcohol was people behave badly - but then they provided booze tents.. so that argument doesn't hold any weight. 70% of the toilets were out of order and the rest were out of toilet roll. Staff walking around in ordinary clothes to spot people who had managed to sneak booze past them... and then bring the heavies in to remove them from the event. No big screens this year - food - well it was too expensive and too mediocre. Next year... we will be doing something else as they are keeping their 'new' rules... save your £40 a ticket and do something else.
