Das Highlight an meinem Geburtstag war gestern das Konzert von Café del Mundo & Azucena Rubio, einer Flamenco-Tänzerin aus Sevilla. Es war einfach fantastisch!!

Aspecto típico de los flamencos, aunque de un tamaño claramente menor que el flamenco común, lo que es especialmente visible si observamos ejemplares de las dos especies juntos. Plumaje de coloración rosa intenso que el del flamenco común. Posee un pico muy oscuro.
El flamenco enano llega como divagante hasta Marruecos, y también parece que la mayoría de los registros españoles y del sur de Francia podrían corresponder a aves venidas desde el noroeste de África, tal vez acompañando en sus migraciones a los flamencos comunes. En España tiene una presencia muy escasa pero regular, llegando a criar algunos años en la laguna de Fuente de Piedra (Málaga).
Durante varios años se han observado algunos ejemplares en el parque natural de El Hondo y alrededores.
El flamenco enano tiene su principal zona de cría en el sur del Sáhara, en los lagos del valle del Rift en Etiopía, Tanzania y Kenia .
La foto no tiene la calidad habitual por su lejanía pero si que es testimonial de su presencia en la zona.

Not so long ago we have met Mardic, one of the beautiful horses of museumpark Archeon. Today, I am introducing Flamenco, a magnificent SPANISH PURE BRED HORSE or Andalusian horse. Another photo of Flamenco can be seen here. The smoke and the fire in the background are from a cannonshot, a photo I took in March this year and it symbolizes Flamenco's temperamentful character.
Flamenco is a Spanish musical genre/dance with origins in Andalusia.
