Lunch today with house guests at Nel Thorns in LaConner. These fabulous lights were suspended from the ceiling over the entry. Carrot curry soup and fish and chips... Yum!
I wonder if the light bulb over the door would still work if electricity was available . . .

I caught this scene in a downtown hotel the other day and I just loved everything about it. The light fixture, carpeting, and the sunny outside view of a portion of the city.
I was visiting a sick friend in the hospital and I happened to look up over her bed and see what looked (to me) like a very compassionate light fixture. It also seemed as though it might burst into tears, any second. It was a little weird, almost like having a relationship with a light fixture. I've got to get more sleep !!
