I got this in a swap. The fabric scraps were mine and the traditional quilter that got my name said she hated them. So she added a novelty Halloween print to the centers of the block. It wasn't my style so I appliquéd over them with the leftovers.

New fixed gear conversion on the bike I used to ride 15 years ago. Nashbar freewheel wheelset from 1991 came with Miche "superfast" hubs.

I knew I could bring out something in the picture, but since it was SO dark there wasn't much I could do about the graininess, so I tried to reduce it/emphasize it at the same time by increasing the contrast (a lot (and to increase the grain)) and then adding a smearing filter to smooth it out simultaneously. Several other effects which I won't go into detail on unless you want me to, and then here's the final result.
