A PHL job passes through Rolling Junction just outside of Watson Yard with a cut of baretable intermodal. At the far left is a fixed-position blade used as an approach to one of the nearby interlockings.

Eine ähnliche Situation habe ich im Weinberg bei Merdingen entdeckt. Der Löß-Hang wurde mit Autoreifen befestigt, aber eine längere Regenzeit hatte die Haltbarkeit aufgelöst.
I discovered a similar situation in the vineyard near Merdingen. The loess slope was fixed with car tires, but a longer rainy season had dissolved the durability.

A photo from todays more subdued morning in contrary to blazing bright starts I have had of late. The heat has been too much for me with very little escape. It rarely gets this hot at home and if it did I have a cold house to retreat into. With its big rooms with high ceilings and very little direct sunlight its freezing in the winter easily fixed with donning extra layers and stays cool in the summer. Oscar hated the heat I would always look for cool tiles to lie on, where Toby would seek out hot spots as the sun found entrance through a window and covet that warm patch on the carpet. In the summer he would be forever in the garden room at the back of the house where he would lie until panting with the heat. I would be always telling him to move fearing heat exhaustion, he would move only to get a drink and would be straight back in his hot spot. I’m of course still missing my dogs dearly but I have conflicting feelings about getting another, partly in memory of Toby and Oscar and partly because we move around so much with the family being scattered and it’s easier to travel without worrying about the dogs wellbeing. The question is how long can I walk alone.
Are you in for a tip? It was really cloudy this past weekend and we were out early in the morning trying to capture some wintry landscapes. At 5am it was cold but I really wanted to capture one image showing the sun and the moonlight collide over this old barn while covered in snow. The sun glow was already showing on the horizon but the barn was in complete darkness. To mimic the moonlight in the frame I attached the lights on the drone and I positioned it on the few spots to light paint the barn. Camera was fixed while capturing these frames so I can blend that light in post. What do you think?

After over 2 years out of service 334017 was returned to ScotRail today after being repaired by Brodie Engineering in Kilmarnock. In a surprise twist Freightliner were given the task of moving the 'Juniper' unit back to Shields depot and 66623 was turned out for it - it's seen here at North Woodhill just north of Kilmarnock with 5Q34.
334017 was involved in a collision with cattle near Uphall in May 2018. It was moved to Polmadie for assessment on 11/06/2018 and the decision was made to repair the unit. Brodie Engineering was tasked with the repair and it was moved from Polmadie to their depot on 01/06/2019.
The wagons used in this move are those that were originally modified for delivering Caledonian Sleeper's Mk.5 coaching stock. The use of them on this move shows that they're evidently multi-purpose, so could we start to see more FL operated stock moves in the future?
I popped over to Port Mulgrave tonight once the little ones were down. I went to check the place out and take a look at the abandoned firestone mine that is there. The crumbling, abandoned harbour is accessed down a steep path from the top of the 300' cliff. A landslip in 2016 destroyed part of the path and signs warn that the route is closed but enterprising people have installed wooden ladders in one section and also added fixed ropes. The old harbour is crumbling badly and the pier is now gone. After a couple of hours in the old mines I paused at the harbour to try some lightpainting. My several sets of fairylights were all on the blink for one reason or another so I improvised by securing a small red LED torch to some string. I'm quite pleased with the effect. At one point a big ship rounded the northern headland and I did worry if they would spot and puzzle over my display- hence the title! (False Lights is the term given to the practice of luring ships onto the shore at night -in order to plunder their cargo- by lighting false beacons to confuse them). PS photo -pretty much as it came out the camera= one single 30s exposure

DISCLAIMER:
Because of a few current Second Life limitations in the Rendering department, you WILL see some horizontal seams on the Experimental versions due to the material splitting so they'd work with the Alpha HUD. That is why I made 2 versions for each arm. One with and one without alpha divisions.
This issue will be fixed once PBR comes out and the new rendering system is introduced.
The Slim version is made for both those who think the original size is too large and to better fit clothes.
The cats had been gone for a few days. Marble's mom told her and Phillip that the cats were at the doctor's office getting "fixed".
"It's about time", Marble proclaimed.
"How did you know they needed to get fixed?", Marble's mother asked.
"Their meows had been broken for a long time. Anytime Pat or Joe got near each other, each one would start meowing these terrible meows and then rub all over each other. It was weird mom. They used to not do that or sound like that. It was about time they got fixed."
Marble is a smart girl.
