Great little reference to Volkswagen vehicles.
This is a *very* recent development! Here you can see homegrown basil, mint, *and* garlic, which were soon pulverized with some olive oil and parmesan to make pesto.
Mix with some noodles and veggies, and you have for yourself quite a nice dinner for Arizona evenings when your AC is broken.
Really. I couldn't have imagined eating anything hot, or cooking anything! Hurrah for refreshing food!

Real Life: when cleaning off the leeks to make the dinner in the previous photo, a pebble went down the garbage disposal, getting it jammed and so John had to take it apart, which hadn't been done in YEARS and despite me using those cleaning tablets occasionally, he said it was the grossest thing ever, so he took out all the pipes and cleaned them all. I was left without a working sink for a couple days. But. Worth it.
