I cannot believe that I missed this great-looking sign!
Somebody from Amsterdam or somebody visiting, please take a picture and post it on flickr. It wouldn't be fit for *Remarkable shopsigns*, not a shop or a restaurant, but would be great for S!gns.

When in Varanasi, and on the river, you see countless boats. Many of them are obviously very old. This man here I'm sure has a hand in keeping many of them in good shape.

Located right on the edge of downtown Occidental, CA, there's the remains of an old sign on the bldg. that says "Occidental Yacht Club" tho there is no water around for miles.

I guess not all our help come from the Lord . Some's in the form of humans working hard in the summer heat.
On Wednesday, I watched a man on a long yellow ladder working on wires attached to a pole behind my house. On Thursday, a Bell truck parked in front of my house and this orange clad man spent time in the basket of the crane, working on wires in front. I have not had problems, so I am not sure what they were fixing.

I tried to keep this simple. I first worked on setting my black and white points. I then used a quick mask on the foreground to lighten just the buildings . Also using quick masks I added dimension to the sky first then the mountains in the middle ground and added some blue into the water all using adjustment layers with curves.
I love the clouds in this original.

IMPORTANT FIREFOX USERS: Turn Color Management OFF, Firefox 5.0 defaults to color manage. You can fix this manually like in this screen grab I made, or I heard you can download the color management plugin and turn it off that way.
