This is a female Ruddy Duck. Below are four more ducks taken during the last few weeks at Ridgefield NWR, except the Redhead which was taken at Malheur NWR.
You can not see figgy: she is TOO SHORT to show up on the photo but not too short to ride. Hooray, forty inches!
These Five shots are from a mini-shoot I did for the place I'm working, we were trying to make up a scene where a wedding had been ruined and the bride was/had been crying. Only had 20 minutes to shoot before getting back to work proper ad all we had was the dress and some people's make up. I'm really happy with the way they came out.
All the shots are straight from camera with no retouching or editing at all, the BW shots are Monochrome mode on the camera.
