Albarracín es una localidad y municipio español del suroeste de la provincia de Teruel, comunidad autónoma de Aragón. Cuenta con 1097 habitantes (INE 2009).

La localidad es Monumento Nacional desde 1961; posee la Medalla de Oro al mérito en las Bellas Artes de 1996, y se encuentra propuesta por la Unesco para ser declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la belleza e importancia de su patrimonio histórico.

Se encuentra situada cerca de la antigua ciudad romana de Lobetum. Los árabes llamaron al lugar Alcartam que se derivaría del antiguo topónimo de Ercávida, pasando a denominarse más tarde como Aben Razin, nombre de una familia bereber, de donde se derivaría su nombre actual. Otros opinan que el término «Albarracín» derivaría del celta alb, 'montaña', y ragin, 'viña', 'uva' o del antropónimo Razin.

Sin duda el topónimo procede de Ibn (ben) hijo de Razin (reyes taifas de Albarracín desde la fitna hasta Ibn Mardanis, rey Lobo de Murcia. es decir Al lugar de los hijos de Razin, aunque hasta el s. XIX su nombre oficial es Ciudad de Santa María de Albarracín, denominándose en época islámica Santa María de Oriente.

Every four years, the political world descends upon New Hampshire to take part in the “First-in-the-Nation” Presidential Primary. On April 17th and 18th that excitement will again percolate in the Granite State for the #FITN Republican Leadership Conference.

 

Peter Thomas King (born April 5, 1944) is the U.S. Representative for New York's 2nd congressional district. He is a member of the Republican Party and represents the central Long Island district that includes parts of Nassau and Suffolk counties.

 

King formerly served as the Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, where he drew attention in early 2011 for holding hearings on the extent of radicalization of American Muslims. He also sits on the Financial Services Committee and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. He stepped down as Homeland Security Chairman because of self-imposed Republican term limits. He remains a member of the committee.

James Stuart "Jim" Gilmore III (born October 6, 1949) is an American politician who was the 68th Governor of Virginia from 1998 to 2002. He is a member of the Republican Party.

 

A native Virginian, Gilmore received a Bachelor's of Arts and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia, and then served in the U.S. Army as a counterintelligence agent. He later was elected to public office as a county prosecutor, as the Attorney General of Virginia, and as Governor of Virginia.

George Elmer Pataki (/pəˈtɑːki/[citation needed]; born June 24, 1945) is an American politician who was the 53rd Governor of New York. A member of the Republican Party, Pataki served three consecutive four-year terms from January 1, 1995, until December 31, 2006.

Randal Howard "Rand" Paul (born January 7, 1963) is an American politician and physician. Since 2011, Paul has served in the United States Senate as a member of the Republican Party representing Kentucky. He is the son of former U.S. Representative Ron Paul of Texas.

 

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Paul attended Baylor University and is a graduate of the Duke University School of Medicine. Paul began practicing ophthalmology in 1993 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and established his own clinic in December 2007. Throughout Paul's life, he volunteered for his father's campaigns. In 2010, Paul entered politics by running for a seat in the United States Senate. Paul has described himself as a Constitutional conservative and a supporter of the Tea Party movement and has advocated for a balanced budget amendment, term limits, and privacy reform.

 

On April 7, 2015, Paul officially announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination at the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
