My daughter is visiting family in Germany, and it's her firsttrip abroad. We get to talk via Skype which I just find amazing. She's having a ball, and I'm reassured she's doing okay! This was a screen grab, so no camera involved.
In late Jan 2001 I with my then wife were on our first overseas trip staying in Bangkok a few days on our way to Vietnam. I remember walking through a market place of typical buildings and then suddenly being confronted by this enormous building which seemed to disappear up into the stratosphere , at the end of the street .
Not having the camera at hand to record the moment ... .It has played on my mind ever since when annually visiting Bangkok and I was determined to capture it as I remembered the scene .
