6 dollars for as many minutes of pretend-your-car-is-a-submarine fun! Oh yeah, and a clean shine on the ol' Volvo.
Finally got a programmable trigger, and started messing with some timelapse... Here's my very first, from my backyard.
October 12, 2023 - Neon Museum's Photographers' Night in Las Vegas, NV. This was my first time ever visiting this place.
Day 65
My youngest Brother-in-Law (Chunky) and his girlfriend (Chunkette) decided that they wanted to join us on our next camping trip. To this end we helped them chose themselves a suitable first tent. It arrived today and they couldn't wait to put it up. My suggestion of waiting for some daylight fell on deaf ears. Therefore at 9:30pm the first pitching commenced.
Putting up a new tent can be fiddly at the best of times, but doing it in the dark made it especially interesting. It took us about an hour, which wasn't too bad, all things considered.

I went searching for the Liguus tree snail for the firsttime today. I did not have much hope for finding any. I was expecting to bitten by a Cotton Mouth first.
Lady Luck was on my side and I found two specimens. Both on Gumbo Limbo trees and both on the south facing side. I did not wander too far off the hiking path since the side paths are more like armadillo trails than paths.
The Florida Tree Snail is classified as a species of special concern (SSC) and is being watched closely.
