Thank god spring is here - i'm very excited...it means more hiking and canoeing and just feeling that warmth on my skin!
Next winter I have got to make sure I go someplace warm for at least a week or two - maybe not very Canadian of me by my soul needs some sunshine every now and then :)
We had planned to pick up our friends, John and Linda, and go out for breakfast and then for a walk, but the UW Huskies were playing North Carolina at 9:15, so John asked if we could make it brunch and go after the game. Dave and I watched for a while, too. It was a good game and very close, but the Huskies lost by three.
Spring came in like a lion today - roaring with wind, rain, sun, thunder.....and now a cold blustery evening at White Rock Beach.

Initial test shot resulted in overexposure. Still, it was so eerie-- almost as if the city was overcome by radiation fallout-- that I thought I'd work it some.
Color is nice, but the B/W just spoke to me.
