The West Coast Line to London which is run by Virgin Trains until December this year .. It's a fantastic service and I for one don't want it to stop :-(
This coach was forming part of 2+4 formation of 1A65 1330hrs Edinburgh Waverley-Aberdeen. This first refurbished train for ScotRail Inter7City services first operated public services in mid-October 2018. Owned by Angel Trains and leased to ScotRail, the train was refurbished by Wabtec at Doncaster and includes new automatic doors. The yellow stripe above the windows indicates First Class accommodation. - the red stripe at the other end a catering area. The livery includes images of places across Scotland. I can’t name them all but before the merged castles of Edinburgh and Inverness are Glasgow’s Clyde Arc bridge and Finnieston Crane, the Wallace Monument at Stirling and Edinburgh’s Royal Scots Greys Memorial.
This was always kind of fun if you had a little vacay money, an afternoon/evening to kill and a desire to ply the HNL-OGG or HNL-LIH routes. $94 for First on a nearly empty interisland widebody.

As with Thai Airways Royal First Class, SQ First Class also offers a pre-order meal selection that could be booked prior to departure. Although the selection is quite limited, but there is Lobster Thermidor on the menu, and so is the legendary Hainan Chicken Rice.
As far as pre-order menu goes, Thai Royal First selection is truly unrivalled and quite mind boggling. It has a plethora of choices that even includes a selection of entirely Thai set menus. The menu is probably more extensive than the small Thai restaurant on my neighborhood back in Sydney.
The menu has anything from Tom Yum, Pad Thai, different kinds of curries (Panang, Massaman, Choo Chee, Red, Green, Yellow). It also has Lobster Thermidor, but I opted for Beef Rossini with foie gras at the end instead.
