I was really looking forward to this show & it was even better than I'd expected. Mike Mogis, the producer of The Lion's Roar (& many other amazing albums!), performed with them & added an interesting element to their live show that was different from when I saw them last. Here are my two favorite songs from from this most recent album:

Was tempted to write First Aid Kit at Field Day since I missed them but that's just naughty, twas a really nice day to catch First Aid Kit play at Arnold Circus, the event was accompanied by a slew of friends and even Alessi :)
There's this other photo which I took near the end that I thought was really funny (had to ask someone to let me have their spot so I could take this shot but it was well worth it). But yeah, one of the bands I wanted to see at Field Day but missed out on, so hopefully this makes up for it :)

A rather stuffed full first aid kit for a handbag - full of bandaids (plasters), gauze, antiseptic wipes and other strange bits. Lovely Kona and ribbon purchased from Annie. Pattern from Positively Splendid.

This Air Raid Warden's first aid kit was used in Birmingham in the Second World War.
During the war there was an organized system of civil defence run by volunteers, many of whom had already served as fighting men twenty years earlier during the first world war. They made sure the blackout was maintained, provided reassurance to people and administered first aid following an air attack.

First Aid Kit (Klara Söderberg) @ Coachella, Weekend 1. April 15th, 2012.
