One of my favourite firework shots of this trip.
Every photographer knows it so well, you take so many photos when the fireworks are going off.
Just hoping that it looks as good on that tiny screen as it does on the big one!

I read an article I found on Flipboard the other day, which shared a technique for capturing fireworks in a different way. In a nutshell, it was to manually transition from in-focus to out-of-focus (or vise versa) while the shutter was open. It took a while to figure out and get the timing right, but I think it was worth the hassle. The results are pretty neat & interesting, and quite different. I couldn't decide on a favourite to post, so I created a simple collage of all the ones I liked.
