They say that waterfalls are best shot in overcast conditions but now that I've attempted images in the opposite conditions, I think that strong light can make the image much more interesting at times. The sun was lighting half of dip falls with golden light reflected off the rocks on its other face. We were lucky that the water flow wasn't that high at the time of our visit as I've seen other images where there is so much water that much of the basalt columns are almost completely obscured.
