A little itty-bitty fire hydrant!

Los Angeles - 2008

When I pulled out my camera to take this, the hydrant was a lonely figure on a curb. Suddenly the street became very busy, making this a better shot.

As I was focussing (how's my focussing Javier?), a lady said loudly to her friend in Mandarin why I would want to shoot this. Well, ma'am would "Because I like it" be good enough for you?

It is how I found this penny sitting on top of the fire hydrant.

Definitely a good New York moment.
