The two poles with the "Red Fish Smoking" signs on them are supposed to somehow protect the hydrant, I think.

Old water post or fire hydrant, but take your own pump with you...
The town had two major fires. Both times, there was no water, because nobody bothered cleaning the muck out of the reservoir.

On Queen's Rd West quite close to the junction with Eastern Street.
Not sure how old this type is because it's the only one I've ever seen.
