Police and Fire units escort fallen Wicomico County Sheriff's Deputy Steve Ray to a funeral home in Salisbury, Maryland. DFC Ray passed away on May 17, 2018. Today,May 19, several units escorted Ray from the Medical Examiner's Office in Baltimore, back to Salisbury. Additional police and fire units gathered at the County line in Mardela Springs to join the escort.
July 8, 2016. Stations 16 (Salisbury), 2 (Salisbury) and 5 (Hebron) were alerted for a house fire. Units arrived to find a working fire. Stations 1 (Salisbury) and 74 (Delmar) were added to the alarm for Tankers and manpower on an exceedingly hot and humid July day.

I stopped by the fire house for a little while on my way to Midway to pick up my mom. Sundays are kind of a restful day there, almost ALL of the guys were in the living room in the semi-circle of la-z-boy recliners watching something on the giant TV. My dad was in the lieutenant's office (watching Nascar) and we went through the Sunday paper together before I had to take off and head to the airport.
