A classic backup for the Lena,IL. fire department. One of the finest and most detailed restorations I've come across. Happy truck thursday all!
This was an interesting and fun challenge. I struggled a bit with it because I never really had done anything like this. I was one to always try and capture things not moving, unless I was focusing on a waterfall and wanted that soft blanket-like motion. This made my brain hurt, hehe. I taped a little fishing line to this guy and put my shutter speed super slow and towed the little truck slowly along. I was pretty happy with the effect it created. I call this one a win for me, hehe.

the 530B was a pretty simple but effective fire truck for its time. It had a mid-ship mounted 500 gpm-pump and enclosed equipment compartments. The 6x6 chassis was powered by a multi-fuel engine
