Ugh...those light fixtures...and that lower part was brown paneling...my house is over 150 years old and someone before me panelled the bottom half and put up plywood for the top half. Without having to tear the whole thing apart...I painted the paneling a pale pink and then will paper the upper half.

Well, the guys have left us with a driveway today. We just can't park on it til Monday. :( Only a few more days of parking on the street.

Hopefully KB will have somone come by soon to fix the yard that has been torn up by all of this work. They are supposed to aerate and reseed the whole yard for us since they tore up the yard. I just hope that they repair all the dirt that has come away from the driveway for the work.

Still playing catch up on SPs - I am a month behind.

I finally finished my second newsboy cap. Before I knew it, I was doing the Odessa hat pattern on this one. I am trying to use up some awful Red Heart yarn - I used two yarns: plain green and multi-colored green yarn. At least it looks cute!

This is it....the last drawing I needed to post for my 2011 drawing series.

During Christmas Break, when I posted all my other drawings, I felt that this drawing just wasn't done yet. After touching it up in places, I feel content with it now.

After cutting 576 pieces of colored felt, the kits have all been put together & are FINALLYdone for the last MOPS (Mothers Of PreSchoolers) craft of the year.

We'll be making these:

I can't believe this is the last craft I'll ever teach at MOPS. It's been a great 5 years! I now pass the crafty torch to another creative soul...

Well, here's the view from the street. Looks pretty.

Now to just keep the neighborhood kids off of it!!!!

Ever since I was little, every year we climb up to the top. It's only about 500 feet vertical and there is a fairly easy path around the other side. The views are so amazing though. You can see the whole lake from there.

my first Free-style peyote bracelet, kind of chaos i thinks.

About 2 miles up Blackwood Canyon in the afternoon. Nothing but the sound of water babbling and the wind in the trees.

Finally FINALLY used up the last of this yarn! From now on, its yarn snobbery for me. No more buying blended yarn unless I'm buying acrylic for a specific purpose. Made this for the madre. Its a 50/50 blend I think so it still feels nice and what mama don't know won't hurt her!

Met up with Tiff at the Philly Tattoo Con and finally got my arm piece completed! I am ecstatic! It is beautiful!

Out on a walk I saw this porch that has seen better days. 50 feet from the lakeshore and it looks abandoned. Someone owns this, why are they not savoring this incredible opportunity to be in one of the most beautiful places in the world? Why let this happen?

This is the view looking up sitting on the little deck that was just added this spring.

i might add some more bits to it.looking at the photos i got this idea you see
