This is one of 2 drawings for my figure drawing final. I kicked this one out today. The woman does actually look kind of freakish, so if my drawing looks freakish, i'm blaming it on the chick. I need to do a little more finishing work i think.
Dr Sketchy's LA chapter held a drawing marathon. I pulled an all- nighter with a lot of talented artists, all drawing for as long as our eyelids could stay open. As if life drawing isn't hard enough, it's pretty tough to draw when you're dead tired. ;-)

It's amazing how fast that three minutes goes. So fast, in fact, that I hit pause to take it just a little further. These are more like five minute gestures! (I tried not to get carried away with the pause button!)
