Charcoal and white chalk. I figured it was about time I got back to doing some more traditional figure drawing, using charcoal. I thought this one came out pretty well, but I was even more pleased with the next drawing, which I did the following week.

The second of two sessions, trying to add color. Not crazy about the results and probably won't be experimenting with this technique again, at least not for a while.

Figure Drawing II - second assignment.

 

Assignment was - colored conte on colored paper; also includes black and white charcoal, we just had to make sure to use colored conte and colored paper.

 

I chose sanguine conte and blue paper.

 

I need help titling this piece. I am not sure what to call it. Taking suggestions. =)
