A USAF F35 Lightning II performing during the Lightning demo at the 2025 Abbotsford International Airshow. It was an awesome demo, it was cut short however due to technical problems. A warning light came on and the pilot had to land. That said she put on a good show, didn't hold back, and she nearly broke the sound barrier.
No idea why they painted it this way. Looks good though.

A US Navy E/A18G Growler flying during the Growler demo at the 2025 Abbotsford Airshow. It was loud and the pilots didn't hold back. I can still hear the afterburners when I look at these shots.
based on the brickmania version, but with some modifications due to not having the instructions (obviously). feedback is welcome.
A striking lineup of legendary warbirds —three iconic Spitfires, a sleek P-51 Mustang, and the distinctive Hispano Aviación. A powerful reminder of aviation history, engineering brilliance, and the brave pilots who once flew them.
The sky over Duxford filled with the roar of Merlin engines as Spitfires and Hurricanes formed up in a recreation of the legendary Big Wing. It’s a breathtaking moment — dozens of aircraft in close formation, echoing the sights and sounds of 1940. While the tactic itself was hotly debated during the Battle of Britain, seeing these fighters sweep across the airfield together is a stirring tribute to the courage and determination of “the Few.”
A46-139 “Phooey”, the flying replica of the Australian CA-13 Boomerang, takes to the skies at the Battle of Britain Airshow in Duxford. First flown in 1991, Phooey was built using original Boomerang parts combined with a T-6 Texan airframe.
Seeing this agile WWII fighter in flight is a thrilling reminder of Australia’s wartime ingenuity and the pilots who flew these remarkable aircraft. A living tribute to the legacy of the Boomerang and the enduring spirit of classic warbirds.
A second RCAF CF-18 Hornet performing the CF-18 Demo in the evening show of the 2022 Abbotsford Airshow. It cool seeing the demo at night, the Hornet's afterburners could be fully seen. It was a loud demo too, the pilot didn't hold back.
Thirty warbirds, from the biplane on the left to early jet fighters, flew over towns in the Front Range of Colorado to salute the dedicated workers on the front lines of the Covid epidemic, and to raise funds to help them. It was a stirring sight.
The faster planes were in the first wave, and the second wave followed 30 minutes later. Fifteen warbirds are shown here--I could not get the entire wave in one frame.
I am wondering if someone has a list of the heritage planes flying today.

A restored US Navy F4U Corsair from WWII flying during the Warbirds demo at the 2025 Abbotsford International Airshow. It flew alongside a P51 Mustang and a P38 Lightning. One of my favorite planes from that era.
