Glamour Girl greets RAAF 75 Squadron Fly Boy after landing his Mirage fighter in Darwin in August 1983. There’s so much in this photo that defines the 80s in Darwin: the visiting RAAF pilots were treated like rock stars with lots of glamour and razzmatazz! Darwin was then (still is) a very significant military town on Australia’s northern frontier with potential threats from a number of near neighbours!! Time to Party!!

One of the best from my favourite country’s Portugal what amazing crew to talk to and also picked up some patches and a T-shirt with the squadron logo and name. Also performed a search and rescue demo in the middle of the crowed line truly amazing to see

It’s not often that your local gets some military for a gas and go I truly hope it continues with more military soon another @team_luftwaffe landing in for a gas and go to gose bay seem the rhinos are defo here to stay
