I was sitting at a red light and suddenly got a primal urge to duck and cover - I looked in my rear view mirror, expecting to see an out-of control 18-wheeler careening towards me.
Instead, four of these fighter planes roared overhead - I managed to get this shot as they were coming in for a landing - you can see the pilot in the first plane.

When I was a kid, I used to fantasize about flying F-15's and F-16's. When I got the chance to sit in the cockpit of a dismantled fighter at the Air Museum just outside of Tillamook, I felt like a kid.
