Sunliners In East Tennessee
A trio of VFA-81 Super Hornets, recently stopped through McGhee-Tyson Airport for fuel. The jets had a nice collection of mission marks from their previous deployment.
The spare bird of the French Air Force Rafale Solo Display 2018 - has the it's tail painted red in the colours of the SPA160 squadron whose emblem is the devil (hence the special edit ) piloted by Captain Sebastien "Babouc " Nativel at Muret-Lherm near Toulouse practicing his demo in the aftermoon - both machines used during the day so as to preserve the main bird for show day.

F1CR 653 in it's former French Air Force colors, during a mission over Afghanistan. This week, this aircraft was lost in a crash outside of Luke AFB. The pilot thankfully survived and no loss of life on the ground.

German Air Force Tornado arrives at RIAT and the only thing my lens can capture is the pilot. Shame.
Mid-Mission Photo-op
During a mission over Iraq, we were tasked to refuel a pair of VFA-213 Super Hornets. They had some spare time before their next CAS window, so we took some shots. Here's the element lead, making a dramatic departure.
North American P-51A-10 Mustang - USAAF 43-6251, unknown military history. Current owner: Planes of Fame Air Museum, Chino, CA. Nicknamed: Mrs. Virgina.

Threewheel car. It would feel like a fighter pilot in it! Just the guns is missing!
Morning Danish
Luke AFB is home to many International F-35 partners. Friday's morning launch included this Royal Danish Air Force jet.
The Rejoin
Look close. F/A-18F "BULLET 104" closing on us, as the last light of the day edges closer to the horizon.
These Kamikaze aircraft, often like this Nakajima Ki-43 got extra fuel tanks.
With these extra fuel tanks it should be enough fuel to cover the distance 'one way' to destroy the ships of the enemy.
Mosrtly in that period of attacks 1945, situated in the area around Okinawa.
To carry bombs on the aircraft was not common and took to much weight during the flight.
