Taken in what is known to pilots and aviation photographers as the Mach Loop, Snowdonia National Park, Wales.
Feel the heat! During the evening display, the pilot threw the aircraft around using generous helpings of reheat. Powered by two Lyulka/Saturn Al-31F afterburning turbofan engines developing 123 kN each. Bucharest International Air Show 2016.

The now closed area of the Schiphol terrace between concourse E and F always gave a very nice view of the daily Northwest invasion at AMS. This one for me being the most memorable.with three DC-10's and three 747's perfectly lined up during dawn.
Reasonably pleased that on our return journey home from a lovely day out we get to witness such a sight as this, the noise is quite good too
