F-2A Air Development and Test Wing(ADTW) prototype first flight "63-8501". It made its first flight in January 1995 as the prototype XF-2A "63-0001". After testing at the Technical Research Division, it was transferred to the ADTW in 1997 and became "63-8501".

We took a tour of the USS Yorktown in Charleston. The ship was quite a site to see. I left wondering what it must have been like to be aboard when under attack. The fear must have been intense. I also thought about us as people, devoting so much energy and effort to find new ways to kill one another. It worrries me at times.

I'm not usually into fighters, however this was unusual enough for me to include it here.
I was pottering on the laptop in my hotel room quite early in the morning when I heard a very loud noise at Palma Airport, loud enough to rattle my windows.
I grabbed my camera and rushed out onto the balcony, By which time this was already a fast receding dot in the distance, so it was a 'shot to nothing'.
Apparently it was a fuel stop at Palma on it's way home to Poland after appearing at the Motril Air Show, Granada, Spain.
The Sukhoi Su-27 'Flanker' during an amazing solo display at the Belgian Air Force Days 2018.
The picture shows the landing gear doors are opened. And of course with Full Afterburners !!!!
This large and impressive SU-27 of the Ukrainian Air Force is a beautiful and feared beast.
