I have to say that I am pretty chuffed with myself for capturing this photo. I was tracking this CF-18 Hornet as it was passing at a high rate of speed. I managed to capture some excellent images and then it passed behind a tree. I was prepared to delete the tree shots when I discovered that I'd actually nailed focus and framing right through the foliage. Not bad! I didn't even need to crop the resulting image.

I caught Blue Angel no. 5 frozen in time when it zipped past the Golden Gate yesterday. It was fun watching these guys zig-zagging around. I shall come back next year.
