9/08 Let’s see… longhaired front man, check. Gratuitous guitar solos, check. Pandering to the crowd, check. Extended instrumental jams, check. A couple acoustic numbers, check. Four minute drum extravaganza, check. Playing a little too long, check. Playing guitar in the crowd, check. Looks like we have an arena rock band kids, and that is exactly what the Foo Fighters have become. Their recent show at Red Rocks proved to be a laundry list of rock clichés pulled off with brilliant abandon.

VFC-13 is the U.S. Navy's premier Fleet Adversary support squadron, providing dedicated air-to-air warfare adversary training for Navy fleet squadrons in multiple phases of pre-deployment training. In March 1996, the Saints moved to NAS Fallon and transitioned to the Northrop F-5E/F Tiger II, a small supersonic fighter originally developed for the Air Force in the 1960's. Due to its small size and simplicity of systems, VFC-13 is able to conduct over 3,000 sorties each year with its current inventory of F-5Ns.
FSA fighters participated in the Civil Syria campaign. To this hero a Civil Syria means Dignity.

CF-18 Hornet. This thing was amazing but I showed up too late. Wish I'd gotten some better shots. Times like these I really need a telephoto. A bit of a serious crop involved but whatever.

second pass at the Sketchup fighter conversion. Beefed up the engines and engine detail, changed the vents for more detailed ones, altered more surfaces and replaced the original torpedos with more detailed ones. Removed the 5th engine on the centre line, looked small and rather spare. Not decided if I'll beef it up and return it, or put something else there.
