Lineup: Yann Falquet (v/g/jaw harp), Pascal Gemme (v/fiddle/mandolin/podorythmie), Nicholas Williams (v/piano accordion/flute).

This band was formed in Montreal in 2000. I have been them live seven times. The first in 2006 and at the one before this in 2012 when I took photos (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/albums/72157629382553613/). That was the last time they played in London before this gig. In 2015 Nicholas Williams replaced one of the three original members Alexandre de Grosbois-Gerand. Williams was born in Ontario but has lived in Québec since 2000. He also performs in a variety of musical styles with the Kehler & Williams duo, Laura Risk and Crowfoot. I have taken more photos of Yann Falquet with an Alasdair Fraser Quintet which also incuded his wife Natalie Haas (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/albums/72157704582222362/).

Bow Fiddle Rock, a large rock about 50 feet high just off the coast. The quartzite structure has a large sea arch, which somewhat resembles the bow of a fiddle.
