I've had a pretty lazy Sunday and haven't even left the house today so I just took this. It's a fiber-optic light.
This is the raw fiber I was given for Christmas. I need to spin about a lb. a month if I wan't to deplete my stash by the end of next year.
The guy the call "The Laddy" (Corey) on Photoshop TV loves to render "fibers" so I thought I'd play around with that. That's how I got the texture here.

OK, let me explain!
While I was concocting a way to photograph my apron (below),
I looked around the room and remembered this piece which I'd wanted to snap.
What began as a weaving, ended up on the knitting needle which then tucked itself under the felted straps on the bag!

Beaver checking us out, shot in the "Brabantse Biesbosch" during a beavertour. We spotted 7 different specimens and allthough they were very skittish we managed to get some nice shots :)

From back in March, either in or just outside of that building adjacent to the mediterranean conservatory. Too long since I'd photographed this to remember whether inside or out. But I suspect inside with lots of other desert based plants, down on the ground level.
Might anyone have an idea of the sort of plant/flower this is? It wasn't labeled (or I didn't find the sign).
