Someone else's dog having a terrific day

Here's a link to the video -- Piper is on day 6 of her post-op stint with the Elizabethan collar. Now 6 months old, she has been spayed, and had rear dew claws removed. The tunnel vision created by the new fashion accessory did not slow her down very much.

Ermm... I really don't know why I'm holding that log. Perhaps someone threw it and I got confused, thought I was a dog? Seems unlikely!

I never took this pic, I was out on a walk with my mum who was visiting me.

41/52 - green fetch. ball

this ball was tricky, not only didn't it stay in her mouth once slobbered up a little, as seen above, but when she ran off without seeing the throw and we lost it, it took us a good 5 minutes to find it in the wet green grass ... I'm the one that has to find it, despite her training ...

Standing in the yard, playing with the dog. Just this morning he said Dog as Bonny was nearby. It was a great way to start the day, and Tom was home to hear it. It was really cool witnessing him putting some of his first words to use.

I admit to Photoshoping the sea level to horizontal.

I'm sorry i'm not around to comment as much these past couple of weeks. I'm having serious problems signing into Flickr and once here i'm not really in the mood to comment. Is anyone else having issues? I've only just got in after trying to log in since 12.30pm, so a whole hour of repeatedly trying to get in. All i keep getting is the Yahoo sign in box which keeps refreshing itself for me to verify my password. And once in it's not much better. I can't upload videos, and i'm having to use the "basic uploader" to upload pictures as the faster, usual, uploader just keeps saying "your files haven't made it" etc. Then Internet Explorer will close the page and i have to start again. Very frustrating!! I've taken to uploading on photobucket today!

The ball is thrown (if you look very closely you may see it) and a dog bounds into the surf at White Rock.

This beautiful, well-trained dog and her owner played with a tennis ball at the water for a long time today. I want to steal her!

But I admit i was a bit concerned for her--I tried to go in the water this afternoon but we crossed paths with a stingray (or something that looked exactly like that) when only knee-deep in the water, and I high-tailed it out of there, never to return. I hope all's clear tomorrow.

Camper bringing me my dirty socks on a weekend morning, he's been doing it for years...rise and shine. Do I put them on? Why of course.

Any game involving water makes our lab happy!

A gator photo from last year. This guy was playing with sticks....maybe they could be trained as retrievers........not likely!
