Pink Power Fest is an 8 day event that runs from October 19th to October 26, 2019. Daily entertainment, raffles, gachas galore…. horse rides and a “pick your own” pumpkin patch.
Every year first weekend of December there is a firework show for the celebration of Advent. It is a must see show in Uppsala. This time I decided to photograph it, as I have never tried firework photography before.
I came to the place in advance, to get a good spot and what a spot I got!
So I come and see there is a lady in good composition spot with equipment to record this event for television. I expected to be kicked out of the spot, but she acted really nicely and agreed to share the spot together. What a luck!
So we prepared for the show, people gathered all around us, usually kicking tripod legs, so re-composition was a fun way to spend time :)
The show started and it was simply amazing, a lot of different kinds of fireworks, light show and of course the wining song of Eurovision (traditional for this event):

It is advent, so I made 20 stunning pictures of fireworks and I will upload one everyday till Christmas, except Sundays, as it is resting day ;)

The Levitation Psych Fest lineup for this year is amazing! You should really check it out if you are a fan of this music! Brian Wilson and Super Furry Animals are who I am looking forward to the most!
I saw this man dancing at the beginning of Austin Psych Fest/Levitation last year. I wanted to add that I found this man quite beautiful and was quite entranced by him. He had that je ne sais quoi, that unbearable lightness of being that reminds us all of why we carry on existing relentlessly even when it's painful.
I walked over to him on the third day of the festival (this was taken on the first) and showed him this photo. There was a language barrier but I tried to explain that for a man he was very beautiful and shouldn't be embarrassed by it. Anyway, I have a better way with photos than words sometimes.

The Austin skyline glows against a moody evening sky as crowds gather on the lawn to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Austin Reggae Fest.
Eine feste Größe sind die Henkelzüge von Sonntag bis Freitag auf der KBS 920. Von Wassertrüdingen nach Langenfeld befördert die BayernBahn Produkte für Henkel. Die grüne 140 438 war am 26. August 2020 mit dem Zug nach Gunzenhausen ihrem Ziel ganz Nahe. Bei Heglau passte sie hervorragend zu dem großen alleinstehenden grünen Baum. Das Bahnwärterhäuschen aus Backstein bot den passenden Kontrast dazu.
A permanent fixture
The Henkel trains from Sunday to Friday on the KBS 920 are a permanent fixture. BayernBahn transports products for Henkel from Wassertrüdingen to Langenfeld. The green 140 438 was very close to its destination on August 26, 2020 with the train to Gunzenhausen. At Heglau, it matched the large, solitary green tree perfectly. The brick signalman's house provided the perfect contrast.
Captured during Tulip Fest at Myriad Gardens in Oklahoma City during my weekend trip to the city. It was nice to get an opportunity to photograph a colorful landscape after a winter in Chicago.

Este ano a festa foi mais fraca do que o costume, menos carrosséis, menos gente, menos concertos de bandas de baile que cantam todas as mesmas canções. No entanto, e por causa de um incêndio na caixa da EDP que deixou o nosso prédio sem luz, arranjei tempo para tirar algumas fotos do espectáculo luminoso.
There is a beautiful event called "Das Fest" which takes places once a year in September at the vineyard Amalienhof near Heilbronn (Baden-Wuerttemberg)
