Every year first weekend of December there is a firework show for the celebration of Advent. It is a must see show in Uppsala. This time I decided to photograph it, as I have never tried firework photography before.
I came to the place in advance, to get a good spot and what a spot I got!
So I come and see there is a lady in good composition spot with equipment to record this event for television. I expected to be kicked out of the spot, but she acted really nicely and agreed to share the spot together. What a luck!
So we prepared for the show, people gathered all around us, usually kicking tripod legs, so re-composition was a fun way to spend time :)
The show started and it was simply amazing, a lot of different kinds of fireworks, light show and of course the wining song of Eurovision (traditional for this event):

It is advent, so I made 20 stunning pictures of fireworks and I will upload one everyday till Christmas, except Sundays, as it is resting day ;)

Festa dei Nonni - 2 ottobre
La festa dei nonni si celebra la prima domenica di ottobre di ogni anno, nel giorno degli Angeli Custodi.
Il Presidente della Repubblica, Giorgio Napolitano, ha rivolto alle nonne e ai nonni d’Italia, nella giornata di festa a loro dedicata, un messaggio: “Celebriamo oggi la festa dei nonni, divenuta ormai un appuntamento fortemente sentito e ricco di iniziative per ricordare, nel segno dell’affetto e della riconoscenza, il loro insostituibile ruolo nella vita familiare.
I nonni, con il loro patrimonio di umanita’, saggezza ed esperienza, offrono quotidianamente generoso e prezioso sostegno alla crescita ed allo sviluppo dei piu’ piccoli, che seguono sin dalla nascita nel percorso educativo e formativo ed ai quali trasmettono conoscenze, tradizioni e valori della loro generazione.
Al peso e al ruolo assunti dagli anziani non puo’ non rispondere l’impegno nell’attuale contesto sociale da parte delle istituzioni e della collettivita’ a difendere e salvaguardare quei diritti che rappresentano una conquista fondamentale per la vita e la dignita’ della persona in quella fascia di eta’. Con questo auspicio e con sentimenti di vicinanza e di ideale condivisione dello spirito che anima questa giornata, rivolgo alle nonne e ai nonni d’Italia un caloroso saluto augurale”.

Molte persone sono entrate nella mia vita, ma solo te nonna Ersilia e te nonno Fausto avete lasciato le orme nel mio cuore. Mi avete cresciuto, con quella sana onestà ed educazione sebbene il sacrificio per il duro lavoro vi impegnava con il babbo e la mamma durante le giornate. L'unione per VOI era l'esempio per tutti: mano nella mano.... sarete sempre con me!

Mein Urlaub hält mich noch fest .
Am Strand von Hossegor finden Wellenreiter oftmals sehr gute Bedingungen vor. Die Welle La Graviere am mittleren Strandabschnitt ist bei Wellenreitern international bekannt.
Als ich da war, begannen die Weltmeisterschaften im Wellenreiten.
Viele übten.
Er war schon gut.
