Pink Power Fest is an 8 day event that runs from October 19th to October 26, 2019. Daily entertainment, raffles, gachas galore…. horse rides and a “pick your own” pumpkin patch.
Every year first weekend of December there is a firework show for the celebration of Advent. It is a must see show in Uppsala. This time I decided to photograph it, as I have never tried firework photography before.
I came to the place in advance, to get a good spot and what a spot I got!
So I come and see there is a lady in good composition spot with equipment to record this event for television. I expected to be kicked out of the spot, but she acted really nicely and agreed to share the spot together. What a luck!
So we prepared for the show, people gathered all around us, usually kicking tripod legs, so re-composition was a fun way to spend time :)
The show started and it was simply amazing, a lot of different kinds of fireworks, light show and of course the wining song of Eurovision (traditional for this event):

It is advent, so I made 20 stunning pictures of fireworks and I will upload one everyday till Christmas, except Sundays, as it is resting day ;)

Este ano a festa foi mais fraca do que o costume, menos carrosséis, menos gente, menos concertos de bandas de baile que cantam todas as mesmas canções. No entanto, e por causa de um incêndio na caixa da EDP que deixou o nosso prédio sem luz, arranjei tempo para tirar algumas fotos do espectáculo luminoso.
