Hand split cedar fenceposts for a large fencing project

It's like the Emperor's New Fence - it's there! You just can't see it!

The Sony SEL24240 isn't that great, unfortunately. I had a really hard time to get a sharp image of this fencepost. And this thing doesn't even move!

On a good day, Cumbernauld looks good - from a distance.

I stopped to photograph the red barn. Then I saw this. And then the sun came out, highlighting the twisted texture of the old fence post.

I couldn't get the flash in there properly, but this fencepost was hollow and full of snails.

Wistow/Bugle Ranges, South Australia.

Day 25: Still overcast, but thinner than the inversion, so we can actually SEE the sun, and have light, for a change. A VERY welcome change, I might add. This is fence posts in the back, with a bit of snow on them. It was shot in HDR and processed in Topaz Adjust to bring out all the texture of the wood.
