A candid street portrait of a pretty young red-haired lady. She looks beautifully and looks at someone as though she asks "Ain't I a woman?" May the happiness be with her.
52 Weeks of 2018
Week 13
René Margritte
Category: Technique
For this week’s theme, we are to either recreate photographically one of his paintings, or create new work that is inspired by René Margritte. I chose to recreate one of his paintings. I decided to add puffy clouds which often adorn his work. The original work by René Margritte is entitled “The Pilgrim”
Thank you so much for your views, comments and favs. I really do appreciate every one!

An evocative portrait of a female. The sumi-e influence and interplay of shadow and light amplifies emotional depth, inviting the viewer into the model's interior world. The ambiguity of the hands clasping the face may speak of passion or despair, or of course, both.
;)))
Have a great new week, dear flickr friends!

A street portrait of an Italian beauty on a sunny day of spring. The lady is not a model, she is a stranger. Street photography.
The monochromatic image, with its soft focus and gentle lighting, evokes a dreamlike quality. The subject, seen from behind, appears to be contemplating or lost in thought as they gaze out a window or into a reflective surface. The lack of distinct facial features adds to the ethereal nature of the scene, allowing viewers to project their own emotions and interpretations onto the figure. The high contrast between light and shadow emphasises the introspective mood, perhaps reflecting the subject's inner thoughts and feelings. The overall atmosphere suggests a moment of quiet introspection or a glimpse into the subject's inner world, inviting viewers to contemplate their own emotions and experiences.
Another quick ediit from Poland until I get chance to look at more of the film scans

2014.04.21 - Let's be honest here, I had nothing to shoot this day and this was all I could come up with! I still love these yellow mimosas that much, but I cannot keep shooting them over and over again on the vase by the window, so I needed to come up with some other way. And this was it! You have to give me some credits for being this honest! :)
You might be wondering why i've started posting all colour photos. It is not to loose followers (ha) it is because I shot mostly B&W film on my trip so I don't want to spoil the fun and post digital test versions of the to follow B&W film images.. so instead i'm posting colour test versions ha.
If you want to see a B&W edit of this and the unedited RAW file see my Instagram post showing all 3 versions - www.instagram.com/mrleicacom/

This young lady had a vision of an art gallery and coffee shop and did a lot of the buildout herself. On this day she gave me some time to photograph her.
I have several dance portraits I'm working on. Just a warning - there will be more. :-) PM
