this is a series of 8 pictures snapped at .10ms intervals (using QuadCam on iPhone) inside of Kurt Hentschläger's Feed audio/visual performance (which takes place with the entire room encased in white fog so thick you cannot see 4 inches in front of you.
The fog cleared a little at this point, when I pointed the iPhone straight up from my lap. Yes, that is my head you see.
These line patterns are not what you see. They are what the camera sees. Forhuman eyes, the experience is much more... say... final scene in 2001-ish... where you become one with the light and the patterns.
Carrying on the theme of seagulls.....
This is the man who feeds the gulls, its quite a spectacle to watch. i'll have a few more pics of this posted over the next few days.

Feeding the ducks at Clare Country Park with Joseph and William. The children had such a lovely time together and thoroughly enjoyed the shower that soaked us to the core. I was a totally bad mummy with no raincoat or jumper for anyone. Ellie loved it and Isaac slept through it. Figures!

At the Therapeutic feeding centre children who have been classified as mildly malnourished children come twice a day to receive a high nutrient meal. Many of their mothers have to work during the day so they come accompanied by a sibling.
This female red-winged blackbird mom wants to feed her "babies". I must have been very close to the nest, because she sat in this tree, then moved to another, patiently waiting for me to move all my gear. I did, and still don't know the exact location of the nest.
Miles loves fresh berries of all kind, he especially likes picking them while hiking. The first salmon berries of the season are ripe and he was begging me to pick them and feed him.
Filter feeding cannot be seen with naked eye, but the fluid flow can be seen when scientific filming is used.
