Unedited-hoping for some feedback on my concepts ahead of editing. Apologies for the large amount of images, would love some feedback on the ones you consider strongest...
The images capture everyday scenes, domestic in nature, highlighting formal qualities such as shape, line, colour, texture.
Having a background in painting, I tend to capture and read the photographs that way.
They act as a window into the lives of those who move through these spaces, giving clues and story telling. I'm thinking my work fits more into the 'Portraiture' theme...but also could work for the 'urban landscape' theme too?
Any and all feedback welcomed!

Taking into account feedback received on Hit Miss Maybe Why this is a new version of a photo posted here earlier. People wanted a sharper image with fewer shadows and a left arm more in shadow. Fill has been added by a reflector to the left and the left hand has been burned into the back ground with phtoshop. I upped the light to get a faster shutter speed. I hope you all like this better
I want to share with my flickr-friends the most lovely feedback i ever received:
"As I was out shoveling, the ice crystals were hitting my face. I looked up at the snow piling up, and I thought I saw emerald green eyes peeking at me from behind a drift. Must be my imagination, I thought. Then, I could swear, out of the corner of my eye, I saw iridescent green and gold wings fluttering! I made my way over to the mound of snow, and there she was, her beautiful green eyes looking up at me shyly, and with her snow white hair framing her elfin face!! It was a Snow Fairy!!!:-> To my delight, she flew up and sat in the palm of my hand! I had heard of these mystical snow fairies, but had never seen one in person. She was so beguiling and she said she had come from the land of ELFicious, and that her 'Mom' had sent her here to bring us joy!:-) Her Mom had sprinkled her with love and pixiedust and made her into the magical creature that she is! She was sent to cheer us up and reminded us that even in the most blinding snows, there is always an evergreen. I could see lush green foliage when looking into her beautiful emerald rain forest colored eyes! Her Mom calls her Eirwen, from the first white snow, and, I am going to nickname her Sprout, for she is a sign of the early Spring crocus that pop their green stems up through the blanket of snow.Sprout traveled here holding her snow speckled glass ornament ball filled with sparkly white puff balls complete with a nylon loop to hang on the evergreen. Sprout is wonderful and enchanting and full of life!! We thank her ELFicious Mom SO much for sending her sweet dear little Snow Fairy, Eirwen, all the way to our home! Sprout will add a sprinkle of fairy dust, and zest and sparkle to every special day!!! We love her!!!:-> Thank You ELFicious!!!XO <3XO!!!***^t^***"
