I would love to hear thoughts people have on this photo. It's my first try at any type of long exposure with water. I believe there is not a strong enough focal point and that makes the picture very mediocre. Would love feedback so I can improve!! :)
negative feedback n. 1. A type of feedback in which an increase in output causes a decrease in input. 2. Critical or discouraging reactions.
(Don't read into this picture too much. The word was totally random. Honest.)
This got great feedback on eBay.
"Excellent artistic seller. Love the smoking joint picture. Happy days! :-)"
How many sellers get that sort of feedback? Not many methinks! :-)
Assertion: Video games employ feedback loops in operant conditioning. Particularly relevant are negative feedback loops that normalize a consistent engagement level for players of advancing skill.
Evidence: This image is from an indie video game called Thomas Was Alone. The premise is simple - a small square must navigate through and overcome obstacles in a geometric maze. As player skill advances, so does the challenge level, maintaining a consistent challenge level for the player.
Commentary: This concept is a particularly challenging idea, and I understood it as particularly tied to the more familiar concept of operant conditioning for which I also used a video game reference.
So this guy walks up to the Hero booth and starts talking to Steve. I see him and think, "Hey, that's a pretty cool costume." So I asked to take his pic with my bunny. After I snapped the pic, somebody (I thought it was Mike Surbrook but he says it wasn't) grabs my arm and says, "Do you know who that is??? That's Feedback!"
I'm like, "Who?"
"The guy from Who Wants To Be a Superhero, you dolt!"
Heh. Color me embarrassed.
