What the frame missed was his raising of a fake plant. War was declared on trees. Fucked Up live in New Haven in Sept 2010 in some quaint little space above Toad's Place where 100 people witnessed loud punk rock with 3 guitars and one large man taking over the room.
Okay so misleading title but in Lindos town you will find donkeys for rides. Like a taxi in a town.
I thought I captured the donkeys true feelings. The sigh of relief after taking a large lady up a steep hill. I really didn't agree with this at all. Donkeys really seemed unhappy and pushed in twos by a local back to base.

I've been trying to slowly catch up on photos from my contacts that I
missed while away, or at least get back on track with their current
work, so NOW Flickr goes and loses track of contacts' recent photo
changes. It was bad enough the past few days when it was sporadic,
but now they've disabled it entirely.
So, if you're one of my regular contacts and have posted photos
recently and I haven't commented on them, I apologize. And I blame
Flickr.
Grr, Flickr, Grr.
(I'm about halfway through my second batch of Texas photos, adding
descriptions, so they should show up shortly [they're currently all
marked as private]. Every time I start to catch up on work, something
else comes up that needs to be taken care of immediately - I think I
should just accept that I'll NEVER be caught up at work.)

Day 65
I start night shifts again tonight; I still haven't returned to a normal sleep/wake cycle since my last set of nights a week ago. I wake up at 2am and can't go back to sleep, but I feel exhausted all day. My digestive system is all over the place and I have constant indigestion.
I'm fed up with night shifts. And crappy rotas that have stupid day shifts in between two blocks of nights only 6 days apart. And feeling tired all the time. And getting spots because of bad food and no sleep. And somehow trying to have a life despite it all.
I'm fed up.

I was determined not to take another photo of a flower today. I also thought it was a good idea to leave it late to try and take a photo. I spent well over an hour trying to set up a self portrait and wasn't happy with anything I got. Either I wasn't positioned right, or I wasn't quite in focus and I ended up getting really annoyed. As a last attempt, I changed my stance, utterly fed up that nothing had come out as I wanted, and this is the result. I'm still not happy with it, but it'll have to do 'cause it's all I've got.
I'm so happy that I'm off to see Leigh-Anne tomorrow, I think I need the creative energy of another photographer to inspire me and bring me out of this pit in which I hate everything I take.
Due to the fact I am about to have 3 weeks off, I am having to do extra hours at work.... I hate working at the weekend, it's one of the reasons I stopped working in pubs. Still, it's time and three quarters for all overtime, so mustn't grumble. Better to get it done than be worrying about it on my honeymoon. ;o)
Messing about with my new phone.
Now, I am going to find a towel, dry myself off, then change into my ever-so-sexy pyjamas with the teddies on them, and go back under the duvet.

Day 159 of 365 days.
So this week I have been busy fixing puncture after puncture and even had to swap around bits on bikes to replace slashed tires. Matt's (girlfriends brother) bikes are forever getting punctures and now slashed tires, the repetition is redoing and redoing these blasted tires! much like the spokes that keep going round and round.
If something didn't get shipped in time, or you're just plain fed up...this FedEx parody shirt's for you!

Doh , life sucks !
Waiting Ages For A Train
I was back in London today for work. I’m not sure why, but I always seem to have to wait at least 20 minutes for a Circle Line train at Westminster in the evening. I sat there while half a dozen District Line services came and went. Not what you want at the end of a long, hot day and you just want to get home. More info. Ref: D1101-198

If you are interested in posting these photos elsewhere, please contact me first. I'm a pretty reasonable guy!
I was taking pictures at the 2011 New Year's Day Parade in Central London.
Now, it was a bit chilly, and a bit wet, but if you are really as bored as this girl appears to be, why not pop into the adjacent hotel (The Ritz) for a cup of coffee to warm up? She just looks really out of place I think.
I got the white balance setting a bit wrong here. (Though as I like the result it probably doesn't count as wrong.) White Balance was on auto. For later photos I had adjusted it so the picture was a bit warmer. I rather like the colder more muted tones here for the crowd shot. I quite like the noise that has arisen from ISO 800 as well.
But what do I know? I still look with envy at the quality (technical and composition) of many of my contacts photos.
