I spent about 2 hours stalking this little guy. He (or she) is adorable. I've never been that bothered about bees but this one is just so cute. :)
I was scared to get close to him/her to begin with but he/she didn't even seem angry or scared that I was taking photos of them.

'Macro Floral Series' - a collection of ten photographs. These images of Lillies, Ranoculus and Begonias, were taken at extreme close up (macro).
All were shot in a completely dark room, the only light coming from small handheld led flashlights which I would position (and move while the shutter is open) in various locations around the flowers over very long exposures.
Look carefully and you will see the petals. Apart from contrast, light and cropping, these photographs are as they appear. Enjoy!
