Featured Painting “Mirage” – A World of Ambiguity
My Mirage, a fantastic painting, was based on a vision visited me when I was falling asleep but with enough mental presence to get up to make quick notes – a distant town, whose outlines barely discernible, in the manner of those commonly seen in old Dutch or Flemish landscape paintings, overwhelmed by several enormous and boldly sketched black feathers floating above the sky. Behind those dark and somewhat ominous feathers, a delicately pretty pale blue sky flashed through persistently. Yet, despite the seemingly menace, those dark feathers also looked rather protective and comforting. A world of ambiguity.

CHITRAL: December 27 – Pedestrian crossing snow covered Lawari Pass at Lawar Top only route of Chitral connecting to other parts of the country. Lawari Pass closed for all type of traffic from last one week. People are facing numerous problems especially women and children to cross the Lawari Pass. APP
Kiki's fur can be, at times, a little oily. Also, many of her photos taken with a flash blanch her out and you can't see her features. So although not terribly attractive photo, you actually get to see her hidden in all that fur. Once again, she's in her generally favorite spot on the futon-couch

Over the half term, I was fortunate enough to be asked to photograph my god parents house for their brochure. To my delight to also featured my photos in the property section in the local Island Life magazine.
October 31, 2020 - Any visit to Green Lawn Cemetery requires a stop to The Pond. They have done some work since my last visit including the addition of a little waterfall as well as thinning out some of the bushes which obscure The Pond from the east. "Originally the Pond was a quarry that provided crushed gravel for the first roads in the cemetery. When this gravel was no longer needed, it was converted into a pond. In the original plan a bridge was to connect it to a second pond in section 100. But that pond was never built. Water features were an important part of the rural cemetery movement and often had a more natural aesthetic than modern water features. Today the Pond is a hotspot for birds and contributes to our inclusion in an Audubon important bird area" Previous text from a plaque located at The Pond.
There is a series of four evenly spaced throne like structures just south of the main road on the way to Bapchule, AZ. I don't know who made them or why they are there, but they certainly are odd.
