This is a familiar reaction to the camera from Mel (or Mandi for that matter). In fact I have so many like this that I could devote an entire set to such reactions.

Featuring a style considered a provincial interpretation of Greek Revival, this lovely wood-frame structure was built in 1878. It stands one block south (and within sight) of the historic 1873 Karnes County Courthouse in the ghost town of Helena.
The house was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
Michael poses with his business partner but I don't recall his name. I converted this one to monochrome.

“Far From the Apple Tree stars Sorcha Groundsell (BBC's Clique, Iona) as Judith, a struggling artist who lands her dream job of working for a renowned and sinister visual artist named Roberta Roslyn (Victoria Liddelle). Judith's new job allows her the opportunity to view and catalogue Roberta's work – archiving but learning her alchemical techniques as she delves deeper and deeper into her past.
Throughout her work Judith discovers a secret left on the cutting room floor – a mysterious woman who looks very much like herself. The woman is revealed to be Roberta's missing daughter Maddy, and who's presence is still very much felt throughout each frame of the unraveling archive. Roberta informs her 'That Maddy is coming home'.

This image was shot during a 2 part magazine feature called California Dreaming, this was featured in part 1 which saw me and an American friend take the Porsche's from Campbell in San Jose area up through San Francisco to the Marin Headlands and then back down to Scotts Valley where Canepa Design's factory and auto museum can be found - this would feature in part 2 of the magazine feature the following month.

Indoor Wall Water Fountain Feature - Features / Fountains
Add ambiance to any room with beautiful indoor wall fountains. We currently have many styles to choose from in a wide variety of frame materials and waterfall face choices. Our skilled artesians are adept at metal fabrication. The metals available for the frames on your water wall have been chosen for attractiveness, durability and ease of fabrication. The most common metals used are copper and stainless steel. The unique marbled or patina finish is applied to the copper of the indoor wall sculptures one piece at a time. A clear coating is then applied to the metal to give it a high gloss finish as well as to protect the copper from naturally developing a green patina over time. On some of our most recent water wall models we will even go further and apply custom artwork or custom patina shading to the metal making your wall sculpture a true piece of unique art.

Outdoor Garden Water Feature Fountain - Features / Fountains
Garden fountains are beautiful outdoor water accents. Outdoor fountains are used in public parks, gardens, yards, patios and decks. The most traditional design is a tiered waterfall with multiple levels where the water cascades down many levels of stone. A garden fountain is very dramatic and has a high degree of water noise and motion due to the water becoming airborne and crashing into the lower level pool below. The water finds it's way into the pool at the bottom and is taken back to the top again by a powerful water pump to begin it's journey anew. Some famous artists and sculptors have created garden water features which add life and elegance to their sculptures. Today craftsmen and increased knowledge have made available garden fountains for private residences.

A fish aggregating device, or FAD, is secured on board the Greenpeace ship 'My Esperanza' in the international waters of the Pacific ocean, 26 November 2011. The Greenpeace ship 'MY Esperanza' is on a three month expedition to expose and stop destructive fishing practices, and to protect dwindling fish stocks in the Pacific.

Josie Thompson, Art & Design freshman, lays down the lines for her entry to Crowder's sidewalk chalk drawing contest on April 19. The contest kicked off the school's Fine Arts Week of events, and participation was counted as extra credit for several classes.
For the feature, Yummy Magazine asked me to come up with a new flavor of cupcakes and share the recipe with the readers. I concocted a cupcake version of the strawberry cheesecake lined with crushed graham and topped with strawberry filling :) Very berry good!
