While this photo doesn't exactly conform to the theme of this set, I have included it because it represents a time and place event for me. I think this was taken as we all walked underneath the I-94 overpass near Milwaukee County Stadium.

This is Morgan Pettit of Avilla and her 15 month old daughter, Aubree. Morgan is a young mom who, before Aubree, suffered two heart breaking miscarriages with her boyfriend of two years, Corey Branstetter. The couple overcame this and tried a final time with success, but down the road of pregnancy Morgan found that the cause of the miscarriages was a chromosomal abnormality that she herself carried. Her doctor told her that excessive fluid combined with this imbalance would cause her baby to be born with downs syndrome, or worse, not make it at all. He suggested that she terminate the pregnancy but this broke her heart and she chose to pray for the best. Aubree was born successfully without downs syndrome, although she had to undergo several immediate surgeries and didn't leave the hospital for three months. Aubree has "unbalanced translocation chromosome 4q and 12q." She is the only known baby on earth with this condition. She is developmentally delayed and still cannot walk, or say many words, besides Momma. Despite all this she and Morgan are very happy and share heartwarming moments like this everyday. Her shirt reads "Love does not count chromosomes."

For a year and a half, I worked on feature films as a floor runner, camera assistant, and puppet coordinator. I lived in Prague, London, and LA. Most of these pics are from my time working for Jim Henson's Creature Shop in LA shooting Buddy with Rene Russo. I also worked on Pinocchio with Martin Landau and Snow White with Sigourney Weaver.

The fountain in Launceston's Prince's Square Park. Launceston has a fascination with fountains and water features, there seems to be a hell of a lot of them. It's a very wet place, I didn't know what water restrictions were until I moved away.

Robert Cox was selected as KSL Newsradio and Zions Bank “Teacher Feature" for the week of Dec. 11, 2012. Cox was an English and history teacher at South Davis Junior High School from 1962 to 1995. Cox was nominated by one of his former students. He passed away on Jan. 11, 2013. His wife Carolyn Cox was presented with his award on Feb. 6.
