This is Jackson, one of the youngest residents of Chimps Inc. And this particular photo of Jackson requires a little explanation: the bars of the cage were included out of necessity, not as an artistic decision. I realize the combination of the cage and the intense stare may create the impression of a sad and trapped animal. You don't need to feel sorry for Jackson, though -- that is a look of fearless youth, not sadness.
I've known Jackson since he arrived at the sanctuary a few years ago, when he was still docile and full of love. Now he's your typical teenage boy -- sticking his chest out, being noisy and generally destructive, spitting at the "adults" (caretakers and volunteers such as myself). Despite being a pain in the ass, you can't help but love him and his insane antics. It's very entertaining stuff.

during our program for the primary and elementary students, our leader for the trip, john chung, got into a arm wrestling match with some of the kids.
This was the first poster I made for "Fearless poster collective". I learnt to make those wavy lines and trying to give a feel of flow, motion and filling the space.
notice the 'dog' whose purpose is to keep them off of the grass. these little baby geese butts are sooooo cute! They must have been just born. I know they grow into mean dirty birds but they are just so sweet as babies

These 2 young ladies came around the corner and took their tops off and strutted down Bourbon Street. It was cold and they were very bold. Fearless!
I am nearly fearless after years of self-doubt and uncertainty. I don’t know if I’ll feel the same tomorrow, or even in an hour. I want stay here all afternoon.

Fearless Girl is a bronze sculpture by Kristen Visbal, commissioned by State Street Global Advisors via McCann New York, depicting a Latina girl facing the Charging Bull (or "Wall Street bull") statue. It was installed on March 7, 2017, at Bowling Green in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City. The statue measures approximately 50 inches (130 cm) tall, and weighs about 250 pounds (110 kg).
Fearless Girl was commissioned by investment firm State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) to advertise for an index fund which comprises gender-diverse companies that have a higher percentage of women among their senior leadership. The plaque below the statue states, "Know the power of women in leadership. SHE makes a difference," with "SHE" being both a descriptive pronoun and the fund's NASDAQ ticker symbol.

Miracles can move mountains yet fear halts the moving soul. Fear is just the bruise reminding you of the pain that is not there anymore:
If the heart is love then blood is its gift. Yet pain is vain and will slice at the vein to gain every bit. So my heart I still give but my scabs are molted in steel for pain will never steal from me again.
Shielded in scars, decorated in battle wounds polished with the blood of the heart that never stops beating the next rhythm to the finish-line that I'm constantly racing towards wether I like it or not... so fearless I shall remain.
Claustrophobia exists beyond a perimeter that is non-existant.
Suffocating from implied standards that are aboriginal to Original breath, forever is my Ether therefore such barriers are made to be broken... I simply breathe to break them.
We 'inhale' to remain 'in hell' and the only calculated exit is suicides door and behind it is a missing floor. Therefore I sit near a cozy Kundalini fire with a spirit full of marshmallows, singing freedom songs... "lightening, thunder and brimstone" waiting on the arrival of my next flight out.
At 'the feet' is 'defeat,' therefore above I stand fearless like a rock that could never be shook, broken nor moved. And if this mountain moves, it is only by way of a miracle because Miracles can move mountains yet fear halts the moving soul. Fear is just the bruise reminding you of the pain that is not there anymore. The 'mira-cle' is who the 'mirror-call'ed. You who stands before it!
I usually like to paint geometric compositions, and I like everything to be very planned and controlled. This was a self-assignment to conquer the fear of painting looser and to gain confidence that everything does not have to be precise. Thus, "fearless poppies."
