Fearless Weirdos- “FW” is a highly unique concept for clothing in the current clothing market inspired by American and Japanese fashion, music and film entertainment. Fearless weirdos is a popular wearable art and style currently, which fuses “weird” and “cool”. Once known, black oval- modular shaped eyeglasses were associated with weird but now is adopted as cool and unique in an array of vast colors. The color socks shown from short
skinny jeans was once weird nerd alert but now cool. What is cool and expressive is the idea to not always “match to match” colors and consistency of silhouettes and feel as though its “YOU”. Many consumers are more daring and following this movement. Those who once laughed at RX eyeglass wearers now want to wear eyeglasses to be stylish rather than for 20/20 vision. We all know that celebrities and icons are followed by our everyday consumers. Icons and leading artist taking on this movement are those as Jonhny Depp, Kanye West, Black Eye Pea’s and many more.
We see it as a timeless style and not at all a fad but slightly a trend. Not only is it a clothing unit but “movement” reaches out to pop culture and lifestyles. Most of the consumers are youthful and roam around looking for a hang out spots to flaunt their style and be with friends within three leading industries-Music, Film, Food. We propose the idea of pleasing our consumers with Lifestyle clothing infused with a Japanese Soda Bar. So far researching,
we have found no similar store or clothing line offering this concept. The Soda Bar mocks Japanese and American street style on its interiors with widescreen video , music entertainment, and Wi-fi hotspot. Customers can quinch their thirst with a Japanese Soda or answer their munchies purchasing Japanese candies or the abstract Japanese green tea mocha their choice of indoor at the bar or outdoor tables. For American shoppers, not only are
the Japanese candies sweet but the clothing imported from Japan is unique and “sweeter”- a term used in street fashion for “ very unique or awesome’
The “Fearless Weirdo” style is present in Japan and America and is developing more as many previous styles in fashion repeats in the fashion cycle, by combining elements of older styles with newer trends. As well in its Wifi and music world, we will always be on top of latest technologies and trends. FW uses traditional style clothing combined over pop, oldies,
alternative and hip hop style influenced instrumentation in the music and entertainment industry. Our ultimate goal is to be the leading label supplying eyewear, clothing, and entertainment consisting of and feeding off this fashion basis to consumers. Fearless Weirdos opens its doors as a retail store with abstract characteristics giving a versatile vibe on different levels and taste of shopping. We are playful trendy but timeless pieces of other foreign labels with the highlight of a Japanese soda bar selling “Rumane” sodas hits
the niche. The Japanese sodas quinch your shopping thirst for that “hit the spot” snack and refresh to keep the shopping momentum going. Depending on the boutiques mood seasonally there will be small fresh servings of carmelized belgium waffles and icecream at its outdoor cafe tables or inside bar which donations go to benefits and foundations with 75% proceeds goes to that non-profit organization. Not only does Fearless Weirdos serve purpose of fashion but diligently setting positive examples as humanitatrians for the community and world. In addition, any event the store takes on will promote for some foundation and donate proceeds. The spccialty store carries 30% of its own timeless lifestyle label. The remainder includesmoderate and better market price points and clientele of youthful trendy labels and other timeless asian labels. The labels maintain great quality, lux feel for one with rich detailed taste yet simplistic and fashion conscious but moderately priced.

Visualizing a roadmap for Washington
For a transportation engineer and planner, Lynn Peterson's path to Washington Secretary of Transportation has been unplanned, forged by her interest in both the engineering and community aspects of transportation systems.
"Transportation is a tool," says Peterson, who earned two master's degrees at Portland State University. "You don't do a project for project's sake; you are working to accomplish an overall community goal."
After earning her Master in Urban and Regional Planning in 1995, Peterson worked in the public sector and as a transportation consultant until she was elected to the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners. In 2008 she earned a second master's degree in civil and environmental engineering and was elected at-large as Clackamas County's first-ever board chairperson. The post set her on a path through the Oregon governor's office and to a top appointment in Washington.
"I have this need to work with communities to problem-solve," she says. "Every community is unique and every solution is unique; there's no one-size-fits-all."
"It's not glamorous," she adds. As a 12-year-old who dreamed of being a civil engineer, she didn't imagine her two proudest accomplishments "would be a mobile home park fairness issue and coming to a consensus on sewer issues in Clackamas County."
With her urban planning education, she doesn't approach issues considering what type of concrete to use, but rather considering the conversations required to find the project that makes sense for stakeholders in a community.
"If a conversation on transportation starts with, 'this is the product we offer,' you will lose people," she says. "I like to start with, 'what outcomes do we need for this community to be successful in accomplishing their goals?'"

HMS Fearless (L10) was a Royal Navy amphibious assault ship that served from 1965 until 2002. One of two Fearless-class landing platform docks, she was based in HMNB Portsmouth and saw service around the world over her 37-year life. She was the last steam-powered surface ship in the Royal Navy.
The ship featured a floodable internal dock, accessed via a ramp at the stern for vehicles to embark, at sea, the stern would be partially submerged, allowing landing craft to load or unload vehicles and personnel directly from the deck. She carried four Landing Craft Utility (LCU)s in the well dock and four smaller Landing Craft Vehicle Personnel (LCVP) mounted on davits along the superstructure. Accommodation was provided for up to 400 embarked troops, which could be increased to 700.
The landing platform docks (LPD) supported a Royal Marines amphibious assault force and provided a platform for the Headquarters capability prior to, and during, the assault phase. The Royal Marines served aboard as the 4th Assault Squadron. The Squadron included crew for the four LCU, four LCVP and the Beach Party, which was equipped with a Land Rover, a Bedford 4-ton truck, two tractor units, one a track layer, the other equipped with a bucket, and a Centurion BARV. The squadron also had duties aboard, (ensuring equipment and troops got to shore as they were needed), radio operators and administration.
Fearless was decommissioned in 2002 and awaited disposal in Fareham Creek, Hampshire, moored alongside her sister ship Intrepid. In October 2007, it was reported that Fearless was to be scrapped in Belgium, five years after the vessel was officially mothballed in Portsmouth. On 17 December 2007, Fearless was towed to Ghent in Belgium to be broken. This was the first warship successfully exported for recycling by any Western government that fully complied with international agreements and the principles concerning environmentally sound management of waste.
Replacement LPDs Albion and Bulwark were ordered during the 1990s. They were commissioned in 2003 and 2005 respectively.
At the dog park, Fergie, the Great Dane, fell head over heels for this Papillon puppy. The attraction was apparently mutual, as they played for ages--APPALLINGLY cute!!! Best viewed full size--their expressions are priceless (as are their feet)...

it was cute to see these girls squealing as they tried to enter the water and got progressively wetter with each little splash of wave. though one of them strode in quite fearlessly.
