Canon FD 55/1.2 AL

My Canon FD specialty lenses with M-mount adapters (Used on the previous three pictures).

I saw this Fashionably Dead outfit while in the store looking at the April 30th Saturday Sale when I noticed that this outfit was the same price. I later came across the commuter rail car in the Orchid Island sim, and the idea popped into my head. Having been able to visit home as travel restrictions have eased, I took a pic at the spur of the moment. It about sums up how I felt about going home.

Thanks to Alicia West for looking at my few pictures for the the last two years and persisting in encouraging me to resume posting.

This was an experiment with a vintage Canon FD 17mm lens connected to my DSLR. The adaptor moves the focal plane and reduces the ability to focus on infinity. With most FD lenses on digital this is fine and just means you get a close up or macro lens.

But when you do this with a lens that is as wide as 17mm then you have no focal plane at all! This leaf is actually pressed against the front element of the lens with the lens focussed on infinity! So this is the best focus you can get with the object actually touching the lens! Never tried this before.

Ein weiteres Bild vom Bokeh bubbles sammeln letztens. Panasonic DC-S5+ Canon FD 100mm f4.0, Blende f4.0.

Another photo from collecting bokeh bubbles recently. Panasonic DC-S5+ Canon FD 100mm f4.0, aperture f4.0.

Another attempt with this old manual lens. There are some C/A tracks on contours, but the total result is good. (Small white points are by light rain drops, not lens fault)

.

Another from 2015.

Happy ~~fence friday~~

By the amazing vintage CANON FD 135 f/2.5 lens, mount converted to EF-mount.

Photo taken with a Canon FD 50mm f1.4 on a Sony A7. This is a lens I have carried for 51 years. First on a Canon F1 and then on the Sony E mount cameras I have using an adapter. I've learned quite a bit about photography since 1972. I might one day master this lens.

Traum-Bokeh, oder? Canons FD 1.4/50mm, das Summilux für Arme, zaubert eine Bildwirkung, die nur mit der 30 mal teureren 55mm Asphäre zu schlagen ist.

Dream bokeh, right? Canon's FD 1.4/50mm, poor man's Summilux , conjures up an image effect that can only be beaten by the 55mm asphere one, which is 30 times more expensive.

Tiger sits on her box, of course on the kitchen counter where all cats should have a special place to view the world..

Vue sur la cathédrale depuis la rue des gras : son nom rappelle les degrés («gras») de l'escalier qui, jadis, montait à la cathédrale dont la façade s'inscrit dans un alignement de maisons de lave.

View of the cathedral from the street "gras": its name reminds degrees of the staircase that once rode to the cathedral, whose facade is part of a row of houses of lava.

Vista de la catedral de la grasa calle: su nombre recuerda grados ("grasa") de la escalera que una vez cabalgó hasta la catedral, cuya fachada es parte de una hilera de casas de lava.

At one time, Paso Robles was known as “Almond City” because the almond growers created the largest concentration of almond orchards in the world. Some of these orchards can still be seen in the area and many of these ranch lands have become vineyards for many wineries. This almond blossom was photographed with a 1971 Canon FD 55 mm lens @ f/1.2
